Available Mystery Shopping Assignments
Our investigative assignments include a variety of industries and scenarios, such as:
- Hotels & Hospitality: Evaluate guest experiences, service standards, and employee performance.
- Restaurants & Bars: Assess customer service, food and beverage operations, and cash-handling procedures.
- Retail Stores: Evaluate employee interactions, customer service, and compliance with company policies.
- Parking Facilities: Assess valet services, parking operations, employee integrity, and customer service.
- Entertainment & Attractions: Evaluate experiences at movie theaters, museums, and other venues.
Assignments vary in duration, location, compensation, and reimbursement allowances.

This is a flexible, per-assignment opportunity—not a traditional hourly or regularly scheduled position.

- Choose which available assignments you would like to request.
- Work as frequently or occasionally as your schedule allows.
- Receive compensation for each successfully completed assignment.
- Receive eligible expense reimbursements according to assignment guidelines.
- No minimum assignment commitment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct covert mystery shopping and undercover audits at client business locations
- Evaluate customer service interactions, staff behavior, and overall service quality
- Document findings through detailed written reports, photos, and structured assessments
- Maintain a convincing cover identity while performing audits without detection
- Assess compliance with client-defined service standards and protocols
- Submit timely, accurate audit reports to project managers following each assignment
- Participate in debriefs and provide actionable feedback based on field observations
Requirements
- Prior experience in mystery shopping, auditing, customer service, or investigative roles preferred
- Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, objective reports
- Ability to remain discreet, professional, and composed in undercover situations
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable traveling to various locations throughout the Boston, MA area
- Basic proficiency with digital reporting tools and mobile devices
